The Materials Holding Bay is a division of AA Midway Station — the observation, research and correlation center of Space Station Plaza — and the receiving dock of the Gemstone and Crystal Matrix.
Every mineral, crystal, gemstone, metal, meteorite, organic gem material and other significant substance that has not yet found a researched relationship with the 20 Solar Seals or 260 Kin is received here.
Placement within the matrix is not made through guesswork or appearance alone. Materials may be studied through their composition, crystal structure, formation process, color and optical behavior, historical uses, cultural associations, planetary resonance, symbolic qualities, shadow expression and relationship to the Galactic Dreamspell codes.
Some materials may reveal one primary Solar Seal. Others may connect with several seals, particular Kin, Oracle positions, or both light and shadow teachings. Some may remain in the Holding Bay for years. This does not mean they are rejected or forgotten — their relationships are still unfolding.
The Holding Bay is not an unassigned bin. It is the living research deck of the project: the place of potential before placement, and mystery before definition. AA Midway Station observes and correlates what remains unresolved; Hunab Ku — the unifying center of the whole system — unifies what has found its place.

Pietersite entered the holding process as a candidate and was studied against the matrix before being recognized as a strong Blue Storm correspondence — the swirling, lightning-like chatoyancy of the Storm tribe. It is recorded as an owner-confirmed SSP expansion, never as an original Mayan Oracle stone. That is the path every material here is on: received → identified → researched → proposed → approved, with provenance kept at each step.
