This is not a direct oracle relationship in which Dan serves as John’s perfect analog or antipode. It is a broader wavespell synchronicity. Dan personally embodies the archetype governing John’s entire thirteen-day path.
John carried the Galactic Dragon within the Wizard’s journey. Dan carried the Wizard at the Cosmic Tone—the thirteenth and culminating expression of enchantment.
Their partnership therefore united two different dimensions of the same field:

Belushi and Aykroyd met through the improvisational comedy world and became members of the original *Saturday Night Live* ensemble. Their temperaments were different but complementary.
Aykroyd was fascinated by systems, machines, the paranormal, police procedures and musical history. He could build an entire fictional structure around an idea. Belushi possessed the instinctive force needed to make that structure live.
